All the details are now available for the Lions 2010 Tournament which will take place as usual at The Netherschool in Cambridge on Queen Ediths Way and will occur over the weekend of August 28th and 29th. MAY 6TH - 2010 LIONS AGM
The 2010 AGM will be held on Tuesday 1st June 2010, at the David Lloyd Club, commencing at 8.00 pm.
In view of this, if anyone has any nominations or proposed amendments to the Constitution, then I need to have them before the 18th May.
Please remember that we are urgently seeking a secretary to deal with the Colts League administration and also to keep committee minutes etc.
APRIL 27TH - 2010 LIONS PRESENTATION EVENING
For all of you who have been wondering or asking the team managers when this is taking place. We can now reveal that the End of Season event will take place on June 27th in the grounds of Coleridge Community College.
The event will take place in the afternoon this year instead of the evening, but more details will be passed on in due course.
APRIL 9TH - CHALLENGE 15
Challenge 15 was the name given to the Endurance Race held at Red Lodge Karting on February 27th, to mark what would have been Liam Fairhurst’s 15th birthday.
We would like to publically thank the people who took part, not only for getting involved in the driving, but for obtaining sponsorship for the event.
The total collected and donated on behalf of Cherry Hinton Lions, was an amazing £1,100.00, which is a wonderful achievement.
APRIL 1ST - TWO MORE COACHES ATTAIN THE STANDARD
Congratulations to Erich Zammer ( Under 14a ) and Iain Clark ( Under 15a ) on successfully completing their Level 1 Coaching Certificates. Both Iain and Erich stepped in to help out their respective teams this season, and over the past couple of weeks have been working towards their coaching badges. Well done to both of you on attaining your goal.
MARCH 8TH - WE NEED YOUR TESCO SCHOOLS/ CLUBS VOUCHERS Hello shoppers, well the shoppers who use Tesco and save the School and Club Vouchers.
Cherry Hinton Lions FC are collecting these vouchers, as we have done for the past two years. By collecting these vouchers, we are able to acquire balls and training aids for free, which all goes to benefit the players at the club.
So please save the vouchers for us, and ask your family and friends to do likewise. The more vouchers we collect, the more equipment we can get.
